Excellent course by Juan Gonzalez Mendia, he has integrated a player learning process; the on field sections of the course was brilliant! He continuously applies conditioned games as a tool to develop skills. not only in a master class but when it is translated into practice, the kids had fun and learnt with ease. His questioning tools and the "review" that applies it's incredible! I also worked on player and parents relationship, acknowledging this is the main factor within the players development. 

Juan continues to be a huge influence within our Union and on my professional development. 

In March 2017, as the Universitario de La Plata U19 & U20 Head Coach, I had the opportunity to live a great experience during a rugby clinic led Juan. The players enriched their knowledge thanks to the advice received and the methodology of the coaches. It helped us a lot because we could then transfer it in to our training, improving our performance remarkably, a great experience in every sense. 

After completing the course in England and Scotland with Juan, I realised that in order to apply my learnings, I needed continuity with the criteria that he applies. That was the main reason why I decided to start a mentoring programme. Two months later I had the possibility to reflect about my own practice in every sessions and the ongoing feedback receive allows me to assess my actions. Very enriching!"
